Most of my senior session families love incorporating a full family session with their senior session. It’s usually been a while since the family has had updated professional photos. This can be on the same day as the senior session or a different day.
It’s really nice to include family photos in your senior heirloom album and to have some prints to hang in your college dorm room of your family. Let’s talk about what would be best for your family!

Heirloom Treasures: Preserve Your Family's Legacy
After your Lexington KY senior photography session, you will have the opportunity to choose how you would like to use your photos. Most of my families love heirloom albums, a few framed prints, and digital files to have for safe keeping. An heirloom album is a tangible piece of your history. It's not just for you; it's for generations to come. Your future family will get to know your story, your adventures, and your love story through these pages. You will have all your favorite photos at arms reach. No need to plug in the charger to your laptop and find the USB with your photos. All of your favorites are curated into one album, printed beautifully, and tell the story of your family at that moment.
How Does the Process work?
Fill out the contact us form and let’s set up a call together. On the call, we’ll talk about your session, the location, and what style of outfits you would love to have photographed. After the call, Amy will send an online agreement and the session fee will be due at this time. Amy can also help with styling your outfits for the session.
On your session day, we will walk around photographing you with different backgrounds while also capturing a mix of looking at the camera and some candid photos.
After each session, your photos will be posted in an online gallery. You will have the option to complete your ordering online or Amy will meet with you to decide the best way to enjoy your photos after the session.
For your album, you will receive a design proof in a couple weeks. We will finalize all of your custom details and it will be in your hands within 8 weeks.
For custom professional framing, a mockup with your chosen photos will be sent to you for approval within a couple weeks. Then your frames will be delivered within 6-8 weeks.

I like to narrow it down to 3 outfits and then you can bring one more to the session as a backup outfit. It’s nice to have a casual look, a dressier look and a more on-trend fun look so you have lots of variety. Use the location to guide your choices and please use me as a resource for feedback on your outfits.

Senior sessions need plenty of time to photograph several outfits and backgrounds. I allow 60-90 minutes for your session.

Yes! I have several hair and makeup professionals who can come to your home to help you look your best for your senior photography session.

The spring of your senior year tends to be crazy packed- please schedule before this time! The summer before your senior year is a wonderful time if you like the summer season. Some seniors love layers and sweaters and the fall is the perfect time.
Planning your session months before graduation, gives you time to get the photos back to use for applications, yearbook, etc. For those who want a session close to graduation and do not need their photos for the yearbook or applications, we may be able to fit a session in April.

Digital files with reprint rights are available for purchase. When the files are purchased, you can use them for your yearbook photo and various college applications such as sorority or fraternity recruitment.

Yes, you will have the opportunity to purchase reprint rights and digital files from your session after the session. You can choose one file or all of the files.

When you purchase your files, you can download your files from your online gallery. There is also an option to purchase a customized USB C drive to store your files in a keepsake box.

Your session includes a consultation to design your session, my time preparing and photographing your session, my time editing the session and uploading it to an online gallery. Products such as prints, digital files, albums, and framed wall art are purchased separately.
